Plasma Reactor for Micro-Reactor Application

Our sales of Plasma Reactor (Plasma Asher) have been growing rapidly, especially to customers in the electronics industry, and recently additional interest has been noted from customer’s in the market of medical, proteome analysis, and environmental analysis. It has become apparent of the application to reinforce the adhesive strength of micro-reactors.
The micro-reactor mentioned here is an instrument that can separate the specific materials out of compounds or treat those materials in various means. To explain further, mulch flow paths are etched on glass or resin sheets at the micron-scale. Fluids run according to those flow paths, join together at the junction where original fluids are compounded, and then flow out the different flow paths from the fluid entry paths.

The surfaces of sheets can be reformed with Plasma Reactor, and organic materials can be removed. Treated surfaces with Plasma greatly improve the adhesive strength and the hydrophilicity of micron-scale flow paths etched on sheets.

We have much experience in the surface treatment of PDMS, glass, PMMA etc. that are used for the micro-reactor. We offer a trial test of surface treatment on your materials at no charge . We are confident you will find that the Plasma Reactor will be very valuable for your R&D work.
